Dear High Priest Kwatamani,
I've been suffering with a severe case of candida for over a year now. This issue is really hampering my life and impeding my blood circulation. I been living a raw/live foods lifestyle for six months. At one point it went away and now it has flared up again and I'm not sure why. I have notice a difference in my life since I purchased your book "Raw and Living Foods" from Sevananda in Atlanta. Do you have any suggestion on how I can get rid of the overgrowth of yeast/candida?

Hope you are enjoying the raw and living foods book. Now, as far as Candida is concerned...the first thing to do would be to cut back on your fruit consumption -- and any consumption of processed sugars -- for now while at the same time increasing your consumption of fresh green leafy vegetables and the juices of fresh green leafy vegetables. You may also add a shot or two of wheat grass juice each day. Additionally, I would encourage you to seek out the herb goldenseal and make yourself a tonic by soaking about a spoonful of the herb in a small glass of spring water. It should be bitter to the taste -- you may need to adjust the amount based on results. Seek out fresh aloe vera and scoop off a fresh spoonful of the inner leaf gel to consume raw at least twice a day -- once in the early day and once in the evening.
After about three weeks or so of continuing this process, your system should begin to regain balance and have a favorable report.
Keep in mind that these recommendations are a general approach to internal cleansing. Without knowing your particular circumstances and side effects, this is a basic method to reduce fungus overgrowth in the blood that may be helpful. Of course, there are details and history that you have not shared that could very well have a direct influence on your condition.
Please feel free to communicate. As you might be aware, our sanctuary is located within the rainforest of Belize. If I had you within this environment, I would utilize some of the ancient herbs here to assist in expediting your process. However, within the Atlanta area, you should be able to work with the herbs suggested above and receive favorable results.

Thank You High Priest for responding, I will try the recommendation for a few weeks and see what happens. I am really enjoying the book, I've tried some of the recipes and they were great. Peace Be With You!
